On 7 January 2019, package of seven different seeds and soil nutrients are provided to the farmers of Sindhupalchowk District. This support consists of tools and support provided to 85 households from different clusters of Dugunagadhi village. The support was divided into two broad groups based upon their agro performance and output productivity in the first season: lead farmers and general farmers.

This is an addition to the existing agro materials and tools which are already in place including the greenhouses and irrigation improvement tools.

The villagers are provided with seeds, soil nutrients every season for facilitating the cultivation. Our agro technician provides guidance, training and facilitation every season to enhance the productivity, identifies gaps and consults with us to fill the gaps.

15 Lead Farmers

The top agro producers were identified from among the total households. These lead farmers were provided with plastic greenhouses, water supply and storage tools for irrigation facility improvement, seeds, soil nutrients and cures, tools for making local organic pesticides and liquid fertilizers, and an experienced trainer to implement and train them.

70 General Farmers

These general farmers are provided with the seeds, soil nutrients, tools for pesticides and liquid fertilizers with locally available herbs, decayed fruits and kitchen wastages, trainings and other supports that a farmer needs for vegetable cultivation.
