Namlo Europa is directed by a board that administers and represents the organization.
Xavier Cros (Barcelona) Founder of Namlo Europa | Board Member
He holds degrees in Business Administration and Marketing. He is an economist by profession and a world traveler. In 2010 he took advantage of a hiatus in his career to work with Namlo International in Nicaragua where he learned first hand about the struggles faced by the communities there and the projects being carried out. Having come to know Magda Nos and the values of the Namlo organization, he decides to become part of Namlo Europa upon returning home.
Magda Nos (Barcelona) founder of Namlo Europa and Namlo International | Vicepresident of Namlo Europa
She has a long history of mountain climbing starting with short climbs on Montserrat and including seven expeditions on mountains of more than 8,000 meters- Yalung Kang, Cho-Oyu, Gasherbrum II, Shishapangma, Everest, Broad Peak y Kangchenjunga. On September 19, 1989, Magda, together with Monica Verge, became the first Spanish women to reach a peak higher than 8,000 meters (Cho-Oyu at 8201 meters). Over the years she felt the need to thank the Sherpas for the help she received from them during her Himalayan expeditions and decided that education was the best gift that she could give. In 1999, taking advantage of a series of lectures she presented for The North Face, she raised the necessary funds to build an elementary school in Nepal and founded Namlo International.
David Verge (Barcelona) Founder of Namlo Europa | Treasurer

He meets Magda Nos in 1989 during the expedition to Cho-Oyu that Magda completed with his sister, Monica Verge. In 2008 he contacts her in order to volunteer with Namlo International and in December of 2010, together with others of Magda friends, decides to create Namlo Europa.
