{"id":1608,"date":"2018-03-27T20:45:20","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T20:45:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/?p=1608"},"modified":"2018-03-27T21:05:15","modified_gmt":"2018-03-27T21:05:15","slug":"reconstruccio-de-yarmasing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/en\/2018\/03\/27\/reconstruccio-de-yarmasing\/","title":{"rendered":"Yarmasing reconstruction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The devastation of the 2015 earthquake which, in a few seconds completely destroyed the entire village of<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Yarmasing<\/strong>, (222 houses) is requiring monumental efforts to reverse. <a href=\"http:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/2017\/04\/11\/actualitzacio-sobre-la-reconstruccio-de-yarmasing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A second official geological survey<\/a><br \/>\n was completed in 2017 and several areas of the upper part of the village were determined unsuitable for<br \/>\nrebuilding. Seven of the original fourteen neighborhoods have had to relocate. Families who owned<br \/>\nhouses in those areas, have had to negotiate the purchase of new plots from villagers owning land in areas<br \/>\nsafe for reconstruction, get the new plots surveyed, obtain bank loans, register land titles of ownership<br \/>\nand secure building permits.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1611\" src=\"http:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1500\" height=\"844\" srcset=\"https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/namloeuropa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/yarmasing-nepal-namlo-europa-676x380.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/> <strong>After villagers moved from the temporary shelters in Kathmandu, to temporary shelters in Yarmasing,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Namlo Europa has continued to support them in a variety of ways<\/strong> including <strong>agricultural training<\/strong> to ensure<br \/>\nthey can grow their own food during the reconstruction period. After we completed the necessary road<br \/>\nwork to open access from the main road to the village, <strong>we purchased 25 tons of rebar to be used in the<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> construction of the house foundations<\/strong>.
